Moving:

Are you kidding me?!

Hello fellow readers!

Moving is quite hard. I’m moving right now, the very moment I type this! Right now, I’m writing from a hotel. So anyway, I’m here to give you some tips on how to make moving a bit easier (this page is also for parents).Oh, and also this page can be used for any kind of car trip or plane/train trip, etc.

1) Before you move, create a playlist.

For someone who loves music (mmeeeee!), it can change their mood and make the move so much easier.

2) Everything is stressful. You’re under a lot of stress and your parental units are too. You and your parental units need to understand that each of you is under a lot of pressure and understand that yelling and getting tense will just make it worse.

(*Fake cough* I’ve been through this before *Fake cough*)

3) Play some car games.

Yeah, I know, I know. Sometimes I find car games super annoying, whether I’m in a car or not! But it is fun most of the time, if you’re in a good mood.

Some examples of car games are: I spy, I’m going on a picnic, the ABC game (pick a category of things, example: Fruits. A person stars: A, Apple. Next person: B, Banana, etc.).

Not a lot of tips, but trust me. It makes the move so much easier 😉

Olivia, 10, says: “I just wanted to tell everyone that we’re here for each other, and that we’re really lucky to still be alive. My friend’s friend died of coronavirus. I don’t know him but I wanted to give an example that this pandemic is very real.”
